| Amazing!
I just ... in the past 4 minutes, looked over some Xanga entries of people I am so nicely connected to thanks to Xanga's subscription tool, and wow!
I'm so glad the people who post feel as though no one reads their xanga's anymore. It's almost as if they're coming out and saying... heh heh... who cares! Let me blog ... period.
Continue please!
I've been thinking too these days. What if we saw the adjectives that people use to describe themselves - fear, confidence, depression, joy - as nouns?
What if these adjectives that we feel some days and don't other days... are actually things that come and go. Things, beings, or entities that we allow to take control and create our... identity.
Ex. "I'm scared."
But am I really scared? Am I really terrified of messing up on a drum solo before thousands of people or haha better yet the girl I am trying to impress? Am I really afraid of making the wrong impression or the bacteria festering in toejam form snug inside my toes?
Or... is it that when stuff starts rolling, deadlines approach, and expectations are set high that I'm just, well, that much more vulnerable to that (being) that craves so desperately for control?
Unless!
I KNOW WHO i am.
And who HE IS.
haha.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. - Apostle Paul
